It's stupid about the whole conversing thing. The developers were really lazy on a lot of aspects that they could have improved on for the PC.
One big this is during the EMP when all electronics went offline, so any aimpoint or red dot or EOtech should be off, but they stupidly took the lights from the ACOG off. In an ACOG the fiber-optic strip works like a glow in the dark sticker; absorbs sunlight to illuminate the part of the reticule where the point of aim is. Some supplement or replace this with tritium, which isn't dependent on sunlight and also is unaffected by EMP But in the game, they turned the lights of the ACOG off, leaving only the reticule.
