Can you rephrase that? I don't understand.

And this isn't a movie reference but more of an internet reference. When you kill your first Juggernaut, the achievement that pops up is "I am the Juggernaut" but they left out the bitch part.

Well he said he lost 30,000 men. He didn't say they were Marines. Maybe army and Marines were present in the middle east in COD4 when the nuke went off. I assume that's what he's referring to.

It seemed like a lower death toll though, think about it, they were all pulling out and the blast was fairly small for a nuke. Only the troops in the center of the city and the helos would get hit.

Well this is the only event I could think of, the nuke explosion that most likely killed a lot of soldiers but perhaps they were trying to clear out when the nuke threat was announced and 30,000 troops didn't make it out in time or died from the fallout afterward. Who knows, the plot to MW2 is so convoluted, that it's crossing into Tom Clancy zone

Am I missing out a lot by not playing this? I haven't played very many new FPS games in the last 5 years. Of course, I doubt my Dell notebook could handle MW2.

At the moment, while everyone's getting excited about MW2, I've actually gone back to "Hostile Waters", which I imagine most of y'all have never heard of.

I've been thoroughly impressed with Modern Warfare 2. The campaign mode seems to be a very solid representation of what would happen if Ridley Scott and Michael Bay said "F@#k it, let's make a movie together." I really want to see where they go with the storyline...maybe Soap and Price start to track down Makarov and go deeper into Shepard's network and past to clear their own names?

Multiplayer is also fun. I like how camping doesn't seem to be a big of a problem in this game as it was in MW1 (when all else fails, it's damn hard to outrun a 40mm HE round). Battles are a lot more competitive and just more enjoyable to play, too.

There are so many cheaters on the PC and you can't even kick them out. People can't even get banned or kicked from servers if they over do anything. It's a very lawless multiplayer experience. And you can't have large massive 50 people battles anymore, the most is 18

Clutch, that's the most accurate description of the plot of Modern Warfare 2 I have ever heard. Just add James Cameron into the mix and you are all set.
