TVTropes is a horrendous mish mash of fanboy circle jerking. They need to get some real editors and quality controllers in there to kick ass and clean things up. Really good idea in theory, but horrible, horrible execution. Imagine Wikipedia, but all the articles are their "...in pop culture" sections only. Bleh.

I actually the site is pretty cool, good for a laugh. The informal-ness adds to it.
