Zack's around - we still talk, but he's working at least two jobs that I know of including a full time software engineer position

I'm happy for him! Not only was he a humble and very bright guy, but he had many good ideas for how to improve the format of the site. A lot of the best changes in SOP over the last few years originated with him.
