Why, EOTechs don't need front sights to aim properly, they are built to be a one sight optic (like a scope). Same with the Tascos and such.
I just shot an OA-98 with an EOTech 552 sight and I hit where I aimed, without a front sight required.
You can actually see guys serving today with M4A1s in this fashion. It makes aiming
easier.
