I say for profanity, we don't swear unless we're really angry about it.

Why the hell should we limit profanity? Most of the films we got on the site are R rated ones. Besides, it's not like the profane quotes have too much "fucks" in them.

Because it's unprofessional.

I say we only do the iconic quotes too, and cut out the stupid ones that have nothing to do with guns. I wouldn't mind seeing shoot em ups antigun nonsense quotes gone too. Having famous quotes from movies a lot of people will ahve seen makes sense.

Well for quotes that show up on the front pages, the swears are what give them the punch. Censoring them would just take away the effect.,

As I have said, this site isn't aimed (pew pew) at kids. I wouldn't mind if the long quotes go. Or the ones which have nothing to do with guns. But the profanity isn't a problem. Look at the Lock, Stock and two smoking barrels quotes. One has a fuck in it. The other has tit in it. Seriously, I can't believe people actually think those two are actually bad because of their profanity.

I don't mind profanity, as long as the quote is good. A random-ass pointless quote should go, profanity or not.

I think , first and foremost, that the stupid Transformers ones have to go. Second, I don't think profanity is an issue, as I've stated before. We can't cap movies with violence and gore and then eliminate foul language because of it's offensive potential, that makes no sense. As far as professionalism goes, I think it's right to want to make the site look more professional and uniform, but taking swears out is just going to make the place look silly.
The ones I'd like to see go from the like are the Transformers quote (both of them, actually), most of the Shoot 'em Up quotes, maybe the Superbad one cause the humor presents a generation gap. The quotes from Terminator, Lock Stock, Snatch and Lord of War should stay and never be taken down because they are either from good movies or they are just memorable quotes, their length or adult language content be damned. |

I say allow profanity, if it is a good quote, or an iconic quote we can remember. Get the ones from that anti gun shoot-em-up and the transformers quote, and all the ones that dont even have to do with guns down. Some of the quotes are crap, we should have criteria for adding them.
