I'm already finding that it doesn't work very well when I'm wearing my gloves. I'd rather have a bigger bolt face of some kind.

Maybe if you wear gloves. Have you tried just press the paddle when you reload?

Aren't there aftermarket bolt release levers you can get that are bigger than standard?

Yep, which is why I'm asking for people's experience with specific makes/models for recommendations.

Have you thought about running the charging handle during a reload if you can't consistently hit the paddle under stress?

Ended up getting a S&W M&P9c instead because I found one new with 3 spare mags for like $30 more than I was seeing used police trade-ins. Also it felt wrong not carrying a S&W. I'll get the Victory within the year, I bet, though, because my P22 is driving me up the wall
