Absolutely. I own a Buckmark which would be a prime candidate for such modifications, but the Woodsman is a collector piece. I have my shooters and then I have a few safequeens. Those I shoot once in awhile, but I have them mostly because I want them. What can I say? Collecting is a sickness.

Maybe if you were to get your hands on an original Maxim .22 silencer, but otherwise best to leave as is! Hope it shoots as good as it looks.

What's the serial number range on your Woodsman? I have a 1928 Woodsman Target as well, be curious to know how close they are.

I'm over here at my folks place right now and the Woodsman is over at my place, but I can tell you the serial number starts with 60XXX.
