They're just trying to milk that cash cow even more.

Here's an idea: revive Caprica.

I really liked BSG, but I hated the ending. It was terrible, hippy nonsensical.

Anyway, I just saw Winter Soldier today and I like it. Makes me wonder how they are going to tie it into Agents of Shield...which I still don't care for.

I forgive the BSG writers for the finale. They painted themselves into a corner due to the writers strike, and there wasn't much they could do.

I saw a few promos for MAOS, and it looked like whatever happened in Winter Soldier affected the show.

I call bullshit on the logic that because of the writers strike they had no better ideas. Any fan could think of a better ending.

With the writer's strike looming, the producers had to deal with the possibility that the show might end prematurely. The Season 4 midseason finale, "Revelations" (the one where they land on "Earth") was written to be a possible series finale. When the strike ended and the show got another half season, they had to work around the existing "finale." So yes, if you've already written an episode that wrapped everything up in a nice bow, it's a bit difficult to do it again.

Ditto (about Agents of Shield).

And I wonder how many nerds are going to complain about the post-credits scene with Pietro and Wanda (specifically, the powers that Wanda displayed).

It looks like they're actually going forward with the American remake of The Raid. I've long been against the idea of American adaptations of foreign films, especially action films, but the one silver lining here is that an American remake would almost definitely feature real guns rather than going all airsoft.

Me too. But the appeal of the original is how the SWAT team survive while they become bounty for the residents to stay for free in an unsanctioned raid by using Pencak Silat. afaik, there's not many movies released in US (or maybe none at all) that portrayed police use martial arts and knives, even machetes to kill bad guy on a raid, so I want to know how the production team will do it in the adaptation. And for me using airsoft on the movie is not a problem in the gun restricted country like Indonesia.

If you watch the reboot Dredd movie, it has a very similar premise to The Raid. Except instead of a bunch of cops, it's 2 going into an apartment complex controlled by a drug dealer who calls on the residents to her aid and one of the Judges has a history with the apartment or like it and at the end of the movie, it involves corrupt cops.

About the weapon usage of the Raid, I found a little of it being inconsistent. How is a fully outfitted team running out of ammo that quickly, also no reloads for their pistols. They made little attempts to reconfirm to HQ that they are even here and how no one realizes that an entire team didn't show up for work that day or went on a mission without approval. I understand this is primarily a martial arts movie, so the guns needed to go out the window fast.
