The idea that the man is emulating COD might not be true because the skull mask has been around for years before Call of Duty did it.

As he is Foreign Legion, maybe he comes from a country where this is traditional. I remember a similarly indignant reaction to a picture a while ago, and it turned out that they were Indonesian (I think) and the skull mask is traditional or representative of something.

At least Metro Last Light comes out. I do hope that Crytek remakes Homefront. It was a good idea in theory but poorly executed.

Someone noted that the Red Faction series was not included. I think it may have run its course though.

Yeah a better version of homefront with better production and story would be nice. The graphics and mechanics felt old and story had more plot holes than mw2.

A shooter about americans defending the country from foreign threat though, is something i want to play

Apparently THQ officially canned the Red Faction series after Armageddon didn't sell. But Red Faction is Volition like Saints' Row, so I assume Koch picked up all their IPs.

Apparently Milius was actually an advisor and Homefront's entire script was written by an in-house guy at Kaos who wasn't credited because they wanted to pretend Milius had done it.
