Ever thought about getting the 2 round extension for the Glock or an 8 rd mag for the 1911?

Nah. I figure if 14 rounds of .45 ACP doesn't stop the fight, plus a possible 5 rounds of .38 SPL, I should have just stayed home.

Why the spare be 7rd? It's about the same size as a 8rd mag

Its more that i already have a 7rd that the wife got me at a gun show and the wilson 8rd would be another $40...and have 16 guns so there is always something else to buy other then another mag for the Compact Springfield, which already has 4-6rd mags 2-7rd mags and the wilson 8rd. Since i just bought the Kel-Tec KSG i have been spending to much on its ammo and accessories. But yes someday really soon i would perfer to have a spare 8rd mag made for the compact 1911.
