You raise a valid point, how does one fire it without getting killed or severely injured by the backblast? My only guesses are that is functions like a PIAT using heavy springs (but that seems highly unlikely since the firing mechanism looks identical to a regular RPG), or they've built the rocket propelsion system to work similar to the AT4 CS, that slows down the backblast shockwave using a saltwater countermass to make it safe to fire indoors. However it works, it seems heavy and impractical regardless.
