I don't like them either as a company, but in buying a gun secondhand that they made 40 years ago, I'm not directly supporting them anyway, so whether or not I like the company now is inconsequential.
I've only seen P14s before, but goddamn they are big compared to even the biggest double stack guns. I wouldn't even want to pick one up. |

I have never owned one, so never shot one. I handled I think was a Para LDA and Springfield both double stacks. It has a noticeably fatter compared to a single stack. But the grip isn't bad, at least to me. I have average size hands.

Mine are large, but every forum makes it seem like their a 2x4. Double stack 9s and 40s are no problem to me. Held a sti polymer double stack, but heard that is thinner than steel.

The grip is flat in the front, I wouldn't call it a 2x4, reminds me of a Glock 21 without the hump in the back.

Im going to see who else comes out with collectibles. i want a anniversary gun, but i also want a shooter. Para seems like the best deal so far though, waiting for springer to come out with something.
