My GI Expert was an okay gun, bought it as a substitute for a Springer Mil-Spec because the prices were out of line at the time on them. (Which I now own.)

Had a few feeding issues the last time I had it out before I traded it in. It was still in its "break-in" period so that may have been it. (But to tell the truth I think the break in period only matters on super tight custom 1911s.) It could have also been the mags or ammo, but I doubt it.

If I was to get another Para it would a P13 or P14. While Springfield and Rock Island both make double stacks. They don't look as cosmetically nice as the Para's (frame wise).
