I hope well eventually be able to upload ourselves to games instead of using generic character models.

Apparently Rare almost did that with the original Perfect Dark. You would upload a headshot, and the game would create a 3-D digital version and put it on one of the characters. They canceled it due to fears that kids would post pictures of theirs schoolmates and practice killing them.
