This comes up all the time. There are a lot of film with just one weapon in it but it's used by several actors. When this site was opened I knew it was going to be like opening Pandora's box. How much memory is used for a film with just one weapon especially if it's sharing the photo with other films. I you want to save memory on the server dump the video games as they are not part of television or film. We need to quite Bitching about single weapons, Black and White Movie, and Foreign films and just keep posting.

Bunni himself posted that it's not really worth it to mass delete things like this for bandwidth purposes. The cost difference is negligible.

I figured that much on the bandwidth. It's just the whining about a show with on a single weapon it is childish. This is I believe the second thread on this subject and some just need to stop. I have heard and seen so much whining about changes in formats and non-John Woo movies with 50+ weapon systems. One of the big genres is Film Nior and you have one type of weapon in the whole film. Westerns most have two types of weapons in them.

Instead of whining about that we should add more depth to the page like a brief summery about the film, The cast, Directors and maybe Studio. The more info the better as IMFDB is being looked at by more in the film industry.

Oh man can we just drop the video game debate? They're here, they're not going to go away. If Bunni didn't want them, he'd make it known. Griping about it is not going to change anything.

I still don't understand why Video games are on a Movie website but that being said a Movie with one gun is still a movie with a gun. People come to this site to see what gun is in that movie they just saw...What if that movie only had one gun?...Does it not justify having its own page? The plot was important enough for someone to take the time to pick the right gun (or what they think should be the right gun) for the character to use...so yes, I believe if the page is done well enough it should be left alone.

I was going to ask about this since I noticed that [REC] has only one gun (and I´m creating the page), so I tought if it would be better to make only one page for [REC] and [REC]2.

You know what I hate more than pages with just one gun? Pages that are piss poor done with no caps of the guns in the show or movie, just gun images from the site or worse, just the names of the guns and NO links to the gun pages or stock gun images.

Well, actually, you hit on my original point....

Why are members creating NEW and beautiful pages for a movie with just one gun? And NOT helping fix all these crap pages that have TONS of guns, but no work in the page?

I have a 50/50 percentage of Creating NEW pages and completely revamping CRAP pages. I just wish more people would fix CRAP pages rather than pad their 'list of pages I created' egos.

Just my two cents.

And you probably noticed that I don't maintain a "List of pages I created" ... I've always opined that creating lists like that only serves to make things 'competitive' and thus people do things just for ego stroking, not for the betterment of the overall site. "Look! My list of pages created is BIGGER than yours!!!" garbage.
