Ghost recon stuff? Only super-high tech stuff they have is the Cross-Com thingy and the MR-C with the look-around-corner sight. Both are too expensive, complex, or just useless for the heros. They don't have the massive funding or satellite support the Ghosts enjoy, caseless weapons are not either available or not reliable enough for mercenaries. Besides, with the present weapons, you can always use ammo and parts form dead enemies in a pinch. A simple mirror will let you look around corners just fine without requiring 8x AAA batteries, a well-cushioned carry case, and an MIT degree to use/fix/understand the manual. Besides, the mirror can help you shave your face/legs.

Im thinking more of future soldier with the camo suits that make them invisible and stuff

You really think the Future Soldier stuff was going to work? Super-armor, maybe. I don't think the invisibility would work reliably in combat, and soldier's don't need most of the electronic stuff or "smart bullets" . I saw on the Smallville page what appeared to be bad guys in invisibility suits defeated by spray paint. There's always a way around invisible. Suit doesn't hide heat, you might track how they disturb the air, and how do you see when invisible? Besides what happens when both sides are invisible? The future of war is not men in invisible motorcycle suits with smart rockets and robot tanks.

Edit: My bad, it was Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman where invisibility was defeated with paint.

The mercenaries' food supply is basically freezed dried stuff. It mainly consists of powdered eggs, powdered milk, dried meats and fruit, and a couple of dozen boxes of MRE packets.
