I'd wear a police uniform and badge, and carry a police issue weapon. I'd also probably be a policeman. Just to be official and all that.

Unlike Batman and Superman, he gets shit done, period. So this is pretty much the template I'd use.

He wouldnt be arrested his second night on the street like a guy in a guy fawkes mask would. Its blending in. Uniformed people are always more trusted by the public.

I dont just mean police and military, andy uniform in general. People trust mechanics in a company uniform more than a guy in a t shirt with their car, uniformed hotel staff, etc. Its a subconcious thing with people

Yeah it is rather satisfying to imagine taking out the bad guys. But just remember that they are probably going to be armed as well. And I can tell you from personal experience some of them not only have the ability, but the willingess to use their weapon of choice.

In other words some of the felons (as well as low level petit crooks) in this world are very capable. Kind of like going to war. The other side is also going to be fighting.

Now back to our regularly scheduled programming.

Is this going to turn into a cop bashing session? Really? I'm the first to admit there are bad cops out there, but lets try not to engage in sterotypes and cliches. Please.

My inspiration for my costume comes from V and Rorschach.
