Since you're close to the case, what started the fight?

She bit his tongue and wouldn't let go, so he hit her until she did and ran away bleeding heavily from his tongue (I was wrong on the bloody nose part). I suppose in some way that's reasonable self defense, but maybe he shouldn't have bought the hooker in the first place...

I heard that part. But I gotta wonder. ANY WOMAN who bites your tongue and won't let go, is asking for a panicked man to pound the crap out of her. It's like a manic dog that's bitten your arm or leg and won't let go. It's a freakshow thing to do! and the punches an expected response from anyone. I wonder, was he forcing himself on her? If so, that's a crime, and yet NO mention of it. A completely weird situation. He sounds pathetic, but she sounds like a nutjob.
