The gun gets good reviews for durability and accuracy, if it fits you go for it, and burris makes good optics,way better then the trashco/simmons crap most places throw on their "package" guns. -06 is a versatile round too.

That's a decent price for an A-Bolt with accessories and an optic. I would still haggle a bit though. A good price can always be better!

It's wood, but I don't mind that -I like the traditional look.

Same for me when dealing with hunting rifle. Just looks better, has more class.

My hunting gun is a Browning A-Bolt. Mine's the rare slug shotgun model (since I live in a shotgun only hunting zone), but the A-Bolt is an incredibly well made weapon, I highly recommend you buy it. Those guns are reliable tac-drivers.

Make sure it's not Japanese made. I have a Japanese Browniing and parts are already starting to wear out, after 4 years of very light use

I know it's a long shot but I really wish you would take a large resolution photo of it against a white background (don't stand close, take a telephoto pic of it from at least 10 feet away) and post it. We need a good pic of an Abolt shotgun
