Anybody see the new season premiere? The Sig P226 they had in 1977....
SPOLIER Finally isn't out of place. But Hurley can't use it. Great scene. |

Yeah they totally disregarded the anachronism and used the same weapons they used in the other seasons. Quite a few continuity errors too.

Hurley yelling:
"I have a gun and I know how to use it!" While trying to rack the slide unsuccessfully(probably because the safety was on) was the highlight of the entire series so far. GO HURLEY! |

He had a SIG 226, which doesn't have a safety that locks the slide, or any manual safety for that matter. Hurley just sucks with guns hehe.

That makes it even hilarious-er. Lost is awesome. |

even funnier, he got the SIG in the early 1970s, and Jack gets a m92fs

Well it is possible they kept their old guns they got from seasons 1-4 when they went time traveling.
I mean, I was surprised that they didn't keep the M4s from the mercs. Imagine M4s in the 70s. Ruger Mini-14s exists in the 70s right? I found it stupid in a scene when they were in the 50s, the confiscated M1 Garands and Locke said that theirs look brand new, as in you have to be in the 1950s to get a brand new M1 rifle when you can get on just as new today.
