Well the point of having the .22LR MP5 clone is BECAUSE he cant get a real one.

well......im sorry to say he didnt get the .22
HE GOT A FRICKIN AK47! he doesnt quite know anything about it other than it's an AK-47 and it fires 7.62mm rounds. so he's sending me some pics either today or tomorrow. but he got it at a gun show for 5 hundred something.

AR. Just because of potential training purposes.
It is reasonable to think that one day he may own a real AR, but H&K will probably never let him own a real MP5.
