http://www.getgrip.com/
http://www.eaglegrips.com/ Hogue grips are popular and have a wide selection as does Eagle. (I don't have any experience with either of them) What kind of finger groove grips do you have? I have factory combat stocks on my 586 with the finger grooves and love them. It originally had target stocks. Here is a crappy pic of mine. Last edited by predator20; 06-25-2012 at 07:06 PM. |

Get them from S&W's website or look on Gunbroker for a pair of L-Frame wooden ones. I think K frames fit too.

I found a set of stock wooden grips w/o grooves on Midway USA's site, but they're so damn expensive

Yeah K-frames grips will fit too. That's what my grips came off of. You have to make sure they're square butt or round butt. Ebay is another place.

Yeah I got my 1911 grips on Ebay, but they were plastic. Unless you find a fantastic deal or a real bad condition pair, expect to pay quite a bit for wood S&W grips.

I guess I'll just have to spend all my money then- or I could just wait until my uncle buys my shitty High Standard

Or you can get creative and carve your own grips. They may not be factory made but at the end of the day you can say that the grips are custom and just the way that you want them. Think of it as an art project and it can be good experiance for future endevors.
