Default Image Attachment Difficulty

It seems hard and complicated to attach an image on imfdb Discussions. To make this better, cant there be a simple "Attach/Insert Image" which it browse's from the computer or from a website.

I fixed your link. There is a link tool there you could use.

Can anyone script a "Insert Image + Caption" instead of "[[File:Example.jpg|thumb|Caption]]". I find it hard, it ends up being red text instead of inserting the image.

Do you mean like the image of the stingball grenade on the main talk page? If so the problem is not caused by wrong wiki coding, but by the fact that you have not actually uploaded an image. You cannot upload an image from a web link which is what you seem to be trying to do, what you have to do is first save the image onto your computer. Then on the upload file screen you hit browse next to the "Source Filename" box and find it on your computer and select it. The Destination filename will be filled in automatically from the original filename, but you can change it if you wish.
