Barney Miller

Hello everyone-

I'm a gun enthusiast and shooter myself. First purchase was a 6" Model 29 (hard to find a 6.5" these days).

Anyway, I was wondering if anyone knew what piece the guys carried on Barney Miller? I was thinking the Smith Model 36.
