Minimi/M249 question
Some input by members with decent knowledge about the FN Minimi & M249 would be appreciated on this discussion:
http://www.imfdb.org/wiki/Talk:Call_...9_or_Minimi.3F Is the similarity of the handguard (and the Mk3 filename) enough to identify the weapon as a Belgian Minimi? Is this type of Minimi handguard used on any real M249s? Do the fictional American markings on the receiver have some relevance on whether we should keep the ID as M249 or not?

So, any ideas? I'd like to read the opinion of someone who is well informed about the Minimi variants. Should we change the ID to Minimi or keep it as M249?
