Default Building a fake handheld minigun...

Before I get ragged on for the obvious impracticality of a hand-held minigun (I know, I know), I thought I'd talk about how I plan to make a fake hand-held minigun to put in a movie I'll be making soon.

How do I plan to make this? A black leaf-blower (out of commission after years of service), and metal tubing strapped to it for barrels. Depending on how it'll look I might chop off the plastic house part so the barrels cluster closer together, although this will be harder to mount properly.

Any suggestions how to do this so it looks best? (it'll be more appreciated than less than constructive critisism. )

I take it you don't want to spend the money on the Airsoft Mini gun, which is hella cool, actually rotates, but costs UBER money. Do you want some sort of 'fire effect' out of the front? or is the gunflash going to be CGI?

A fire-effect would probably be really hard to add to it, so probably going with CGI. And yeah, an airsoft minigun would be great, if I wanted to never go to college, get a car, or eat again. x P

Wrap PVC pipes in duct tape or spray paint them silver.

That would look horrible, spray paint them black.

To make the barrels rotate, you could build a battery powered hand drill into the casing.
