I beat it a few months ago. It's an odd game, totally not what I expected. You'll love it if you're a fan of metal though, there are tons of songs. I wasn't that much of a metal fan, so I just ended up listening to Rock of Ages and Dr. Feelgood the entire time. (And yes, that did get old.)

Just when I was starting to settle into AC:AH, something new comes along to irritate the hell out of me. Correct me if I'm wrong, it's the Battle of AN-zio, right? Every time I've ever heard a reference to it, whether it be the actual battle or AN-zio Annie, it's been AN-zio. Not an-ZIO, right?

I finally found a copy of the newest Rambo movie earlier today when I was browsing around at Half Price Books. I got it and Punisher: Warzone, along with a couple books (Mostly William Johnstone books about badasses wrecking Mexican Cartels' shit)

I finished the campaign last night. Overall, it was a bit disappointing. I hate how everything is so scripted. It doesn't matter how many missiles or cannon rounds you pump into a guy, you MUST see the cool animation they have prepared.

I also had to turn Assisted flight back on. DFM flew me into the ground a few times before I turned it back on.

BTW, I discovered a trick today. You know that brief moment between the time you initiate DFM and when it actually zooms in? Launch a pair of missiles right before or as you zoom in. They usually hit home.

When I buddy bought AC04, I was very skeptical, because I thought it was a straight up simulator, and I knew that simulators don't work on consoles. But once I started playing it, I loved it.

The new game throws some bones to old AC fans. There is the traditional amphibious landing mission. The music sounds very Ace Combat-like as well.
