I remember when the spammers sold things like dick pills and watches. What is this scar-and-umbrella business? Who would buy a scarf online?

I've deleted the newest batch of spam. I've discovered I can delete all posts by a certain user, so I don't have to sift through a million spam posts, I can delete all the users at once. So say goodbye to all of the scarf salesman's shit.

The initial spam thread asking about the spam program XRumer was the test run. Now it is probably all being run by a series of captcha defeating bots They are most likely using an open proxy server so if vbulletin allows you should ban all posts mentioning whatever they are spamming as that is the only effective way of eliminating the spam until the person in charge checks back in and notices it isn't working and decides to turn it off.
