Default Another new template

http://www.imfdb.org/index.php/Template:Noeffort

I put this together so that we can mark articles which no effort has been put into more easily; putting {{Noeffort}} at the top of an article will now put it into this category so admins can review it more easily. This will avoid having to notify admins individually on their talk pages.

Thoughts? I imagine when we have a set of formal article guidelines, I'll alter it so that text 'certain minimal standards' is a link to them. If it's ok, I might make a few more to add other kinds of article to the "delete" category [for example duplicate articles and images].

Daddy like.

I guess that I'll be doing that Database sweep here really soon. I have two tags to use one for trash and the other for paramedics.

Ok, got one more with an optional parameter in it.

http://www.imfdb.org/index.php/Template:Duplicate

This is for duplicate pages and images. To use it, enter it as {{Duplicate|}} with a link to the page after the |, as you'd format an internal link. For example, if it were a duplicate of the page http://www.imfdb.org/index.php/Full_Metal_Jacket, you'd enter that as

{{Duplicate|Full Metal Jacket}}

If you're linking to an image, change "image:" in the link to "media:" so it won't be displayed in the template. This is to speed things up for admins, so they don't have to find the page it's a duplicate of. It puts pages it's on into the same delete category as the other one.

Maybe.

Just a note on something I've found; if you're putting it on an image page, the duplicate template has to be entered as {{Template:Duplicate|}} rather than just {{Duplicate|}} otherwise it won't display.

We should also put a link to Category:Incomplete somewhere so it's more obvious that it's a list of articles people can work on if they're at a loss for something to do.
