Default Has anyone bought DVDs from Vintage Shack?

Are they legit? some of these Web based only vendors are rip off artists. Just wondering. They have DVDs from some of my 'to do list' of TV shows

* Haunted
* John Doe
* Brimstone
* Wolf Lake

and other cancelled TV shows that we could really used screencaps for.

I haven't bought any from them, but I would be very wary. More often than not, these places are sketchball. It's not that they take your money, but the quality of the DVDs they send tends to very low. If you want an example, you can see my "Viper" page, which was done with DVDs from a German online vendor.

Also, lately, there's been a trend towards web sites posting episodes of old, canceled TV shows online (legally, too). I added some screencaps to the "Lois & Clark" page that were taken from the WB's online episodes. Nowadays, a lot of the networks are following this trend. Sooner or later, just about every canceled show will be available to watch (and screencap) online.
