I watched the new Law and Order tonight. It's the first ep, so I'm willing to give it a little leeway, but Skeet Ulrich is really wooden. Like, Keanu Reeves-wooden. The other cop (the bald one) seems much more interesting. And I have a hard time taking the female ADA seriously, considering the only other roles I've seen her in have been in the Scary Movie series. Alfred Molina is really good though. And they did away with the voiceover in the beginning ("In the criminal justice system...") and the sound ("Dum dum!")

Remember what I said about Hollywood's lack of originality?

Recast away.

Recast away.
All right, but I also get to recast The Rules of Attraction (I'm pissed that that guy from Dawson's Creek played Sean Bateman. :P):

Herman Munster - Ron Perlman

Lily Munster - Jennifer Connelly

Grandpa Munster - Christopher Plummer

Eddie Munster - Jimmy Bennett

Marilyn Munster - Dakota Fanning

You missed an easy layup on this one: Brad Garrett as Herman Munster. He's tall, he's funny, and he's not 60, unlike Ron Perlman.

Christopher Plummer doesn't have the comedy chops to be Grandpa, nor do I think he'd do television. In a perfect world, Peter Boyle. (It'd be a nice cycle too, going from Frankenstein to vampire.) But alas, he's dead, so I'll settle for Jerry Stiller or Walter Koenig (he can break out the Chekov accent again.)

All day I've had this friggin' headache. If only it weren't illegal for the school nurse to give me some ibuprofen

This a direct result of zero tolerance drug policies, courtesy of the drug war you love so much.
