Apparently shipping on my 1911 is taking a bit longer. Hopefully it'll get here by Saturday. But I can wait. I've already got Hogue grips and a couple Wilson mags for it

I just got some Hogue grips for my GP100. I had resisted, because I just liked how the rubber/wood grips looked, but I found a set for ten bucks on ebay, and figured why not give it a shot. I haven't installed them yet, so we'll see.

I bought two of these. Anyone care to guess what they'll get turned into?

I'm guessing a 603/A1 and an XM177/CAR-15 build, and if so, I am extremely jelly of the A1.

DAMN! right on the money. I pretty much have everything for the M16A1 on the way. The XM177 is going to be an E2, it will be down the road. (But I still have a few things coming for it.) I have to find a barrel and get someone to cut it and permanently attach the long flash hider. To keep from having to register it as an sbr.

Edit
Here is pic of this one guys retro build. The M14 would be nice to have too.

That's awesome that you're going to build those, and the guy who built those 3 guns is lucky to have them. He neglected to buy A1 lowers though so they aren't as authentic as they could be, thought he did get a flash hider with a bayonet lug for his M1A, so power to him for that.

Also if you know an American manufacturer that makes the older style 4 position collapsible stock, I'd like to know who they are and where to get one.
