Is this an MP40/38?
Hello all, i just joined and and i already have a bit of a mystery gun. It is in the background so not the best image but here it is:
 The underfolder looks about right, and a few frames forward you can see the end of the barrel and the front sight, briefly and in the background: But it looks about right. It is the backend of the gun that has me puzzled, it looks like it just ends in a 'tube' shape and not the more rounded off end that you find when you look at MP38/40 images. Please let me know if you have any guess to what it is!

It is from the tv-series "The Strain" Season 1, episode 5 09:36.

I just watched a Forgotten Weapons video:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=piUBtQaN-Qc&t=2s And when i lookeded around i found versions of the Beretta model 38 with an underfolding stock. Most likely this gun is just that? Beretta 98 with an underfolder.
