Default Links to full movies on youtube

Does anyone else have an Issue with people linking to entire films on youtube? I know that some of the B-grade stuff is really enjoyable but personally I feel that it's like watching a bootleg of a film.

Depends. I often find people who post stuff that's not available on DVD or elsewhere. My "Viper" page here on IMFDB was done entirely with YouTube videos. I never would have been able to watch that show again otherwise.

there in lies the rub. Sometimes we use youtube to double check something really fast but I still have a problem with directly linking to Youtube to show an entire film.

I occasionally use Youtube (and other online video services such as Hulu) to screencap films, TV series, etc. that I don't have DVD access to, but the quality on Youtube can be hit-or-miss, as sometimes you have to deal with foreign subtitles (like you see in my screencaps for The Park is Mine) and Youtube generally has rather poor picture quality. As for linking whole movies to Youtube, I generally don't post links outside of IMFDB on article pages as I personally feel it detracts from the quality of the article.
