He also somehow fired a 23rd shot without reloading. Or the show didnt show us of the SAS guy reloading. The GSG5 mag has only 22 rounds in it

He had to have reloaded, they just edited it out. Anyhow, nice try Briton, but Excalibur is right. I'm not nearly as infuriated as he but I agree the execution for this was all wrong and not all that fair. At least get an actual MP5, Top Gear did it and they were doing a Biathalon, not a combat shooting exercise.

With a single round in the chamber that bumps up the round count to 23 and just enough rounds to service every target once as there is a single melee target. I've chatted with a former SAS member and his responce was that it wasn't bad shooting. As I've seen the man shoot I'll take his word on it.

If you watch the vid again, he didn't chamber a round already into the GSG5. He loaded his only mag and rack the charging handle. He had 22 rounds. There are 23 targets to shoot.

Not at all surprised. It was pretty entertaining to watch, though.

I just loved how over the top the gamer was when his time is better than the SAS guy. And then we go back to the studio where he discusses with 2 other hosts about how "bad ass" he was.

That video really pisses me off, primarily that douche-nerd.

I don't see why they didn't have douche-nerd run the course himself. Even if he has no fire arms experience they could've have given him an airsoft gun or paintball marker.

And after he runs through the video game faster than the real life SAS soldier, he goes and rubs it in his face. That has got to be one of the most dis-rescpectful things I have ever seen. It's the same idea as going up to a WWII vet and telling him he sucks because you got way more kills in Call of Duty 2 than he did during the war.

I admit that I am a huge gamer, but I don't believe that all my hours in CoD mean I'm some kind of bad ass professional in real life. And I certianly wouldn't go up to a real soldier and boast about my game playing skills vs his hard earned real life skills.

Douche-nerd was very lucky that "Sid" was a well disciplined soldier. Otherwise he might have gotten his face punched in.

Sorry bout ranting... I just really hate people like douche-nerd there.

You pretty much summed up my feelings for the douche bag.

Seriously, I can boast I've went on shooting ranges and taken a couple lessons and had my Marine buddies work with me, but I wouldn't rub in their faces about how badass I am in COD4. I like to keep my head and not look like a 12 year old whose balls havent even dropped
