Was anyone else bothered by that Justified ad? If you didn't see it, Timothy Olyphant's character (I don't know his name, I don't watch the show) is in a standoff, and he does his version of the Dirty Harry "Do you feel lucky" speech. Which doesn't really work since he's using a Glock.

Me? No, I like the show but I'm sure some will be all bothered.

Although it sounds like you're trying too hard to be misanthropic again, I do agree with you that I find it hard to get excited over the Super Bowl, or football generally. College basketball's the only sport I enjoy watching, and even then, only when I'm in half-empty bars.

I spent most of Super Bowl night working, then I caught up on "Human Target" (all from the comfort of the library, where there aren't any TVs, anyway).

I agree with you on that. It's just a sport. I spend my Superbowl night doing some algebra and writing in my book.
