Default I'm gonna be so glad...

...when Modern Warfare 2 releases and all the gas piston fanboys find out that what they think are HK416s, REC7s, and XCRs are actually plain old Colt (or Bushmaster, as certain screenshots are making me think) M4A1s.

I think I'm starting to inherit Excalibur's pet peeve.

Unfortunately, aside from new guns, an extra customization in mutliplayer, and new maps, will it be anything special or just another COD to beat in a day?

It'll be better than COD World at War. That game was not impressive

I though COD5 had good online you actually needed some skill to use the weapons in it.

Yeah, I'm looking forward to the ACR as well.

I make a clear distinction between a "fan" of something and a "fanboy" of something. The people I consider fanboys are the ones that claim their favorite item trumps all and badmouths everything that competes with it. E.g., someone calling a gas piston firearm the "end-all uber weapon that the world needs" and saying everything else is "unreliable shit", such as the case with the HK416 vs M4 debate.

I believe they have increased reliability, and reliabiliy is number one in my book. Tha said, having a gas piston doesn't make a guns 100% reliable. Its like comparing apples and slightly tastier apples. I cant wait for the Bushy ACR, my staes economy is goin down the shitter and the ACR could help create some jobs if Bushmaster gets some good contracts.

Those are the people I'm talking about, the no-nothings out there who think sticking a gas piston on a rifle or carbine makes it an ultimate, unjammable, end-all weapon.
