If I timed myself I'd feel like crap.

And I always have a container of water bottles lying around, and in room temperature.

Jst keep at it, im just getting back into it really, i slipped and lost it all. If you keep at it youll stay in shape. Also, find the time of day you feel good for workouts. Right at nights not the best idea, since you should work out before the last meal of the day, and right in the mornings okay but if you feel a lack of energy it may be better to run after some breakfast.

I rarely do 2-mile runs, but last time I did it, my time was about 12:30.

Ok so, pace yourself, eat a good breakfast, no big dinner, try working out before your last meal of the day. I read drank some orange juice the night before a run. Dont workout the same muscles twice, it takes a day to heal them except sit ups.

But I can jog every day right?

Yeah make sure you eat something.

I think the reason I did so bad was that I did my 2 mile run at 7PM and I hadn't eaten anything for the entire day (except a bunch of airheads I had lying around so they probably gave me a sugar crash)

And you can Jog every day basically but makes sure you have one or two days to recover per week.
At the least do it 3 times a week.

I run every day except for Sunday.

One time I over exercised my stomach muscles and couldn't bend my abdomen for a week without extreme pain. So don't un-include the stomach, you can strain those muscles too.

And I discovered Orange Juice can wake you up far better than most energy drinks, so give it a try at breakfast. It's good for you and keeps you energized without a crash too.

And while eating healthy is always good, don't be afraid of SOME crap food on an occasion. In fact, I know this dipwad fitness freak who loads up on a mound of waffles for breakfast many days and he's like 110lbs and an excellent runner.

You can run everyday, jsut dont strain yourself too much and go uphill everday or anything too extreme. Orange juice has more potassium than bananas. So does potatos. Watch OJ though, drink it with breakfast, not alone, as its acidic. Ran 1.5 miles in 12:5 this morning

My lower back started to hurt from my little jog today. Any tips on how to help soothe it?
