Default I am a stone...

I just received this very cool, all original Mosin-Nagant M91/30 PU sniper rifle. Although the market is full of reproduction Mosin snipers with modern-made scopes, this is an original never-refurbed WW2 rifle, with a mismatched WW2 scope, likely a wartime field replacement. The rifle is a 1943 Ishevsk M91/30, but the scope really makes it special - it's an silium (13% silicon, 87% aluminium) alloy tube with a brass lens fitting and square turret housing, which was an experimental model only made for a couple of months in early 1943. Like all WW2 Soviet scopes, when you adjust them the bars of the reticle actually move over the sight picture, rather than the sight picture moving in front of the reticle like on a modern one. Very cool rifle!
