You heard it here first. He warned me about watermarks. I made invisible digital copyright electronic tags. Sure that's great when you want to actually prove that an image is your (in a court of law), but it doesn't help when dozens of people are potentially stealing and claiming credit for your pics.
I should have listened to GM45. He was right all along. ![]() So the question now is, watermarks that actually cross over the weapon? Your thoughts are appreciated. |

Having one in the corner can easily be edited out. It does make them put in some effort when stealing your images.

I wouldn't have them cross over the entire thing, it'll ruin your pictures. I think one in the corner is sufficient.

Yeah, if we're lucky people will see the watermark and keep looking for a different picture. Whether or not they come back for the IMFDB original...

Not over the entire photo. Ruins the aesthetics. In the corner.

Great idea, corner seems best for aesthetic reasons. Is that an armory SR9? Still waiting for all the new rugers to show in a film.

![]() ![]() Yes, that is a blank adapted Armory Ruger. Rugers aren't that 'desirable' amongst movie makers. Most filmmakers are pretty gun ignorant (usually they're also cappuccino drinking liberals who have never touched a gun in their lives before .....) so they just ask for the same guns OVER and OVER and OVER again ad nauseum. Only when a big blockbuster movie starts using a more obscure gun, that is when you start seeing people asking for that by name. I think a lot of the shooting community's disdain for Ruger semi autos spills over into the non-shooting community. Ruger makes SUPERMAN like revolvers. But the shooting community never liked Ruger's semiautos. Seriously I LIKE their new gun lines. Don't know if you have ever shot their older pistols (P85, P89, P94, etc.) but they are NOT COMFORTABLE to shoot and the ergonomics of the slide release, mag release, etc. are completely ALIEN to human hands....... |

The reason I like the (new) ruger is they innovate and make new guns. And they are more geared to civilian gun ownership and USA made. Its sad that they had the dark days of traitor bill but the new folks in charge run a great company.
It does suck that some guns (like the beretta 92) are overrused in everything and cool guns that are popular in real life aren't used.

My hands are average sized and the only thing that I find hard to reach on my P94 is the slide release. The mag release, de-cocker, etc are all within my reach.

I slingshot so slide release isn't a big deal.
