Default I made my very first screencap!

Apparently my current PC can play DVDs when I was told differently by the place that sold it to me!

Granted, it's for the Resident Evil Wiki article on the MP5 SMG (as the IMFDB article for this movie has one almost identical) to illustrate my argument there about the G36C-type sight rail, but it's nonetheless an achievement for me.

Now I'll have to look through my DVD case to see what movies I have that need screencaps here.

If they told you that, they're really full of shit. DVD-R tech is so inexpensive nowadays that even the cheapest POS laptops have it. Pretty much any computer that costs more than $800 new, and made within the last 5-6 years, will be able to play DVDs.

Does the time bar fade if you don't move your mouse for a while? Because if it doesn't you'll have to crop off some of the screencap to removed the time bar.

well you dont need to put this cap on MY page, I had downloaded a HQ version of the movie and did everything.

Seriously a laptop that costs less than 400 has a DVD player in it. You can buy the drive itself for less than $50 at a computer parts store. I personally cut out the middle man, IE Best Buy and just go to the source and build my PC with the help of a few friends of course that are smarter than I.

Seriously Spartan, you can use the images I have from the page I created for the RE wiki.

Some advice about what you are doing, it appears to me, all you did was press the "prtscn" button and it just copied the entire screen. Does the DVD player program you are using have a "capture" button so it just copies the paused screen? Cause my DVD player program does that without showing the player menu

I only meant it for future reference, so he doesn't upload screencaps with time-bars on them in the future.

I just view it in windowed view so there is no time bar and crop the image in MSpaint.

I actually just used Windows Media Player. For some reason I couldn't take screencaps while playing it on my DVD program.

Yeah, I figured that would be okay, but I wanted to make my own cap for the heck of it.

No, all I have is "prtscn". The time bar was just left on as a proof of me doing it myself.

I just left the time bar on there as proof that I made the cap myself and didn't just copy the one already in the article, upload it to Photobucket, then pass it off as my own. Any caps I put here won't have time bars on them.
