I just read that Houston PD only allows .40 cal handguns (A few Sigs, some Glocks, the XD, and the S&W M&P. That sorta sucks for 1911 guys

I heard that Ryan Reynolds wants to play Snarf if they ever make a Thundercats movie. And this is my reaction:

Thundercats was an awesome cartoon. I thought Hollywood learned that classic cartoons turned live action movie usually suck (Examples: Speed Racer and Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen).

Anyway, the movie project has been shelved and they've decided to make a newer version (like what they did with Battlestar Galactica). It will feature the original Thundercats (Lion-O, Tygra, Cheetara, Panthros, Wilykit and Wilykat, and Snarf) but they'll have new designs.

Sad thing is when you have a gf other girls are into you, when your single there not.....

Now heres some idiocy i saw on a old gun forum post, thing is this guy seems serious based on other responses in thread...

I'm new to this forum but was interested purchasing either an AR-15 or a 1911 for home defense. I wanted to get the opinions of other members of this forum. Here's a list I complied of pros and cons of both weapon systems:

AR-15

Pros:
-High magazine capacity
-Able to engage targets at a distance
-More accurate
-Lightweight

Cons:
-Low stopping power
-Requires two hands to use
-Relatively easy to break because of the plastic butt stock
-Over penetration risk

1911

Pros:
-More stopping power than AR (45 ACP vs .223)
-Can be used with one hand
-Easier to use within enclosed areas

Cons:
-Low magazine capacity
-Isn't as accurate
-Can't engage targets as far as the AR
-Can't penetrate body armor

single doesnt mean sadly alone, it means happily has options open....

BTW women make the best wingmen, its true. Girls like you more when they see you with another girl. Also, women are weird and difficult to understand, so a woman will know there complicated psyche better''

New question for randomness:

How many internet forums you belong to?

Me:
This one (general all around fun)
Thefiringline.com (favorite gun forum, moderated enough to get rid of shtf/zombie crap but not heavy handed like the nazis at thehighroad.)
bodybuilding.com (look up workout and diet advice))
rimfirecentral.com (more to look up a basic question like research scopes or ammo))
