Slam firing sounds irresponsibly reckless.

Lots of people do it for fun, its no more or less reckless then rapid firing a semiauto. And a standard shotgun trigger that resets is what we want, not the broken kel tec thing.

A gun that's capable of slam-firing tends to wear down the mechanism to a degree that if done enough, it will fire whenever you bring the pump forward (which is BAD).

Not to mention Mossberg 500s, Remington 870s, and lots of other shotguns have triggers that don't allow slam fire. Why does it matter that this one doesn't too?

If it's so desirable, just modify it or hire a gunsmith to.

Is it impossible to have a trigger that resets but doesn't allow slam fire?
Slam fire sounds unnecessary, but the trigger thing sounds dangerous.

I want a 870/500 style trigger. You need reset. Not necessarily slam fire, but not a trigger that friggin goes dead....

The trigger on the KSG has been reworked so its the same as a Moss 500 or a Rem 870. I'm actually thinking about selling my Remington 870 to get one.
