I generally try to avoid more than 6 nowadays. It does depend on the movie and gun, though. I mean, on the one hand, nobody needs to see 20 images of a type of gun that appears in hundreds of other movies (like a Glock or an AK). On the other hand, there are some movies where it's a bit more tempting and understandable...like my "Deep Rising" page where I have lots of images of the M1-L1 pulse rifles.

I agree with MT2008. Some pages need more than 10 screencaps.

Well some pages do need 10, but then few movies and TV that I've been doing, I try not to go beyond 4-5. Especially on my Unit page where it spanned 4 seasons. If they continued the series, we'd have to make a whole new page for it

Yeah, it's always worse with TV shows. Having 10 or more images for gun in shows that have featured dozens of different makes/models (like "Stargate: SG1") would be almost unreadable. Look at what happened with "Miami Vice", for instance.

Which is why Miami Vice has more than one page

Brian and Gunman did a great job on the Miami Vice project. We should use it as an example of what to do when screencapping and doing pages about long Television shows.

I just uploaded the last episodes of season 3. There are two middle episodes that I need to go back on and grab some caps. They weren't necessary when there was one page but now season 3 looks blank in a few areas. Two more freaking seasons to go.

Brian

Godammit Predator. Don't start leaving your name on your posts.

Anyway, I seen Astra going around removing screencaps from pages. I just hope he doesn't go fucking around with my pages.

Well, you said "Brian and Gunman". Some people may not know who Brian is.

If Astra is removing screencaps from other peoples pages he should at least contact the members who did the work and let them decide what stays and goes. It may discourage them from contributing anymore work, if he does it without them knowing.

Which is why I don't really like his idea of removing the screencaps. At least talk about in the Forum.
