Why call it a Colt/Para when you can call it Cara, sounds cool and like a chick name.

Also, do you have a 1911, K9870?

No but my friend has a Kimber I shoot with him a lot, fired a Les Baer once too, lets just say that was an awesome gun. I love 1911s, the grip just fits in my hand right. The slim profile is omething I like, I just couldn't see a double stack.

That's good, I might just use that.

What company's trigger assembly will you use?

I just plan to go Dan Wesson CBOB for off duty carry once i become a cop, this gun is top notch. Ill see if departments will allow a full size 1911 on duty too......Some may, some will stick with "BLocks"

Oh, yeah, and Excalibur has a Kimber Warrior now.

I'm not sure, but I think the light weight triggers with the three holes in it look nice, so I might add one of those in and set the trigger to 3.5lbs.

Friends's Kimber Custom 1 series is like that, very nice. My girlfriends dad claimed his Colt MKIII (forgot whaty series) had the best factory 1911 trigger he'd ever had.

Recently bought it. It's pretty sweet.
