Master Chief is possibly the most overrated video game character ever, people love halo, cause its a fun game, but the main character doesn't talk, has no character, hes just a green suit that shoots things.

Neither does Gordon Freeman. In the original Half-Life, you never really learn much about him from the game itself. Valve actually had to release an official biography to correct this problem.

BTW, like Freeman, my Dad is also a theoretical physicist (though he doesn't research teleportation, obviously ).

Never played half life, not a pc gamer...well...at all. But master chief is a pretty bad character, people like the game, not the character.

I only rented the original Halo once for a day or so (I returned it because I hated it), but I seem to recall Chief speaking during cutscenes. I could be wrong, though. But that was years ago and I haven't touched anything Halo-related, so I could easily be mistaken.
