Please mind the bland title, I took a bunch of pictures of guns while I was out this last week.

Similar to the M4 stock, but designed specifically for the M249.

When everybody stacks all their guns up, do they ever lose track of which one is theirs? I'd worry about that.

Usually you can remember where you stacked it, even then most M4s (I said most because mine doesn't) have a # scribbled on the butt-stock.

Even if you don't have the serial memorized you should be able to know which is your personal weapon. Military weapons are rarely if ever issued factory new, and when used in the field they won't stay that way. Every weapon will have its distinct dents and knicks, I could always pick my C7 and Browning out of the rack without having to check the serial.
