Default Accuracy international chassis for remington 700

Seems like a great idea to me, especially seeing that a AW would be like 5 grand and this is a way to get performance out of a base 700 with the conversion. Im wondering how the magazine conversion works though. Does the stock replace the baseplate of a standard reminton 700, or do you need a detachable magazine remington to actually use it? Having a 10 round bolt gun would be cool, if it worked properly.

Isn't it pretty easy to convert a 700 to take detachable mags? I often see people at my range who have done this. In fact, it seems pretty common.

Im wondering if you need to convert it ahead of time (or buy the dm model) or if the AICS takes care of that. especially if i wanted to use the 10 round aics mags.
