Default Bets on Ruger's new 2011 handgun

site says tomorrow more info will be released in their new handgun. im guessing it will be a cast frame 1911 (cashing in on the centennial buying craze) at competitive price.

I think they will be more focused on their SR line like the SR40 matbe even a C model. Probably new upgrades to their polymore 45's. More tactical Chargers with big mags

They already have the sr40, a sr-45 seems like it would warrant an announcement, but there was no big deal when the sr 40 or sr9c were released. So im thinking it will be a new gun for them. A 1911 seems solid seeing every company in the world will release one this year.

The SR-40 hasnt even hit the self yet, and the compact 9mm did awsome in sales. It seems they kind of like the whole tactical thing and ruger is also getting into the concealment thing pretty deep. The 6.8 SR-556 will probably be pushed a little stronger and newer scout rifles...something Jeff cooper could get behind. ohhh and lasers on everything...even bearcats.

Whatever it is, Ruger is going to have a recall for it sometime during the new year.

The recall joke has gotten old. The sr 40 actually has hit shelves just slowly, seen one on display already, and the sr9c did do well in sales, not a big hype beffore release though. They kind of expected it to do good.

They recalled lcps which seems a legitiamte complaint but the sr9 recall was to put in safety triggers like a glock because idiots were shooting them by "mistake."

No rifle recalls, no lcr recall, id say there doing good.

Well their CC offerings are some of the national bestsellers, they have 3 handgun of the year awards in a row, and all kinds of new rifle configurations with bigger magazines. Its Sad though, it took the company founder dying before the company became great, but sellout bill's shadow has moved on and the company is a completely new one now.
